If you take out the Earth, Mars is certainly the most fascinating body orbiting the Sun. While all the rovers are very important, there needs to be human hands on Mars to gain any insight as to the existence of biological matter on the planet, because it is most likely to be dwelling way beneath the ground. With a manned mission to Mars, we would have entire laboratories to truly examine any samples – something we can’t accomplish by any means with robots and a scantily equipped payload. I only wish The Mars Society can succeed by the end of this decade.
